If there is a company or organization that is fully committed and dedicated to advocating for an inclusive society, building thriving communities and creating financial tools that enrich lives, then it’s Capital One.

At Capital One, it is believed that the company only does well as a company by doing good for their customers, associates and communities.

Notable among the recent influence and contribution of Capital One is their support accorded the youth and community of Harlem, despite the global pandemic and civil unrest. Capital One fully supported the ideas and goals of the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem – a community space that provides unbiased access and opportunities for youth to unlock their full potential.

Despite the pandemic and lockdown, proudly and fully supported by Capital One, the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem still found ways of supporting their community. They migrated to virtual classes for teaching, made great efforts in improving the health condition of the people of their community and provided food access for families in need.

Another very important recent contribution of Capital One is their partnership with Creative Theory Agency, a Black-Owned, culture-focused marketing agency. It is widely known that many communities have been harshly affected by COVID-19, however, statistics showed that the pandemic has hit Black and other marginalized communities the hardest. At Creative Theory Agency, the goal is to create a more equitable society by helping people and brands understand who they are, so they can add to the conversation, not the noise.

Many small businesses lack the vision to reimagine and reinvent a new world and set goals that will bring such a world into existence. However, Creative Theory Agency is not one of such and they have made and contributed great efforts to uplift people and communities through telling stories that overturn common narratives. The agency is indeed a blessing and Capital One is very proud to do business with them.
