Khulu Reinfirst Manyuka (73) reportedly left home on 15 June thisyear headed to the bush to conduct prayers, redirecting his attention to God, away from things of the earth.Manyuka was known by his family and community at large as a very spiritual person whose faith could move mountains. A twitter user named AS Aruwa with the handle @Musadiqz has revealed that the deputy governor of Borno state, Alhaji Zanna Mustapha has died. He tweeted this information some minutes ago, saying the deputy governor died this morning in Adamawa state. Alhaji Mustapha was said to have been in Adamawa state yesterday on a working visit. The West African School Certificate, WAEC, has just released the result of the May/June 2015 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, withholding 118,101 candidates’results out of the 1.5 million students that participated in the examination. Announcing this in Lagos at a press conference on Monday, WAEC Head of National Office, Mr. Charles Eguridu noted that the states owing WAEC were now 13, saying the candidates in public schools in the 13 states would not have their results until their state governments pay their candidates’registration fees. The examination body had recently raised the alarm that 19 states owed the agency about N4bn, an amount that might cripple its operations. The SSCE result is currently online to make it easier for candidates to access, using the number on the scratch card they had earlier purchased.
