Buhari orders probe on the sale of NITEL by the last administration

Borno Deputy Governor Dies

A twitter user named AS Aruwa with the handle @Musadiqz has revealed that the deputy governor of Borno state, Alhaji Zanna Mustapha has died. He tweeted this information some minutes ago, saying the deputy governor died this morning in Adamawa state. Alhaji Mustapha was said to have been in Adamawa state yesterday on a working visit. He was reportedly hale & hearty as at last night.He is expected to be buried by 2pm today as his corpse will be moved from Yola to Maiduguri, Aruwa concluded.There is no official confirmation from the Borno state government on this issue, but Naij,com will keep you updated as events unfold.

WAEC RELEASES MAY/JUNE 2015 RESULTS

The West African School Certificate, WAEC, has just released the result of the May/June 2015 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, withholding 118,101 candidates’results out of the 1.5 million students that participated in the examination. Announcing this in Lagos at a press conference on Monday, WAEC Head of National Office, Mr. Charles Eguridu noted that the states owing WAEC were now 13, saying the candidates in public schools in the 13 states would not have their results until their state governments pay their candidates’registration fees. The examination body had recently raised the alarm that 19 states owed the agency about N4bn, an amount that might cripple its operations. The SSCE result is currently online to make it easier for candidates to access, using the number on the scratch card they had earlier purchased.
