America’s first lady, Michelle Obama, her mother, Marian Robinson and her daughters Sasha and Malia are in Africa to promote girls’ education with her signature “Let Girls Learn” campaign. The aim of Michelle’s trip is to tackle the exclusion of girls in education worldwide. “We will emerge together as a group of women to tackle this exclusion,” Michelle said during a talk on the Let Girls Learn Initiative. On Monday, they visited a leadership camp for girls in Liberia, urging the teens to keep fighting to stay in school. “I’m just so thrilled to be here with you. The Lagos State Government in conjunction with the Sports Writer’s Association of Nigeria (Lagos Chapter) and the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, have set up a committee to oversee the Lagos farewell testimonial match for late ex-Super Eagles coaches Amodu Shaibu and Stephen Keshi.
